Yes...this is Mrs. Memmott's ECE US History wiki

(despite the URL implying AP);
the URL simply could not be changed.

WHY TAKE ECE U.S. HISTORY?

  • Successful completion of United States history is a graduation requirement of Wamogo Regional High School.  It is also a diploma requirement from a state of Connecticut high school.
  • MANY colleges/universities outside of UCONN accept the ECE credit.  Check HERE!
  • ECE gives you a head start on college while you’re still in the supportive environment of a high school classroom.*  The rigor, critical thinking and organizational skills are INVALUABLE in consideration of college bound futures!
  • Taking this class sends a powerful message to colleges and universities that you are ready for them!  ECE can enable you to gain admission, college credit and placement into advanced level courses at your post-secondary school of choice.  The AP and ECE levels are essentially the new standard for staying competitive in the college application/acceptance process.
  • You are much more likely than [your] peers to complete a bachelor’s degree in four years or less.*
  • Save money!  Check out how much 6 college credits cost at the colleges/universities you are most interested in.

Maintaining no less than a “C” (73%) average is encouraged so as to maintain a strong transcript record and transferable likelihood.
